You've probably heard this a million times from me by now, but your style is incredible. Unique, detailed, dynamic. The only thing I can gripe about it is that you don't make more. xD It isn't easy to draw in both the brony and cyberpunk fandom, if only because the attitudes and styles of the genres don't have a lot in common, but you mesh them extremely well together while still maintaining something of your own flavor. The only thing that is bugging me about this piece on particular is the background; it seems as if it was added in after doing the characters as an after thought. I've noticed this in several other of your pieces on your Tumblr, but it doesn't show much at all, since they are generally focused more on the characters themselves. The background in this piece has a real significance, and it's brought to the eye really easy. Though it is beautiful in its own right (I am a fan of watercolors), it definitely clashes with the action-y, flowing design of the characters.
All in all, this piece is definitely one of the best I've seen from you, but I would love to see you do some scenery. Your style makes for great cyberpunk scenery. You are definitely my favorite cyberpunk artist, and it would be amazing to see you expand your repertoire on scenery.
First of all I'd just like to say that I really like the character design of these two, they're awesome! I love their eyes and their hair is fantastic. I especially enjoy the one with the short orange mane, it is very unique.
The wings are beautiful and anatomically I think this looks pretty good. I can see small flaws (or rough anatomy) on the legs and there is a line on the yellow pony's chest that you can see through the wing, but it doesn't take away from the piece really.
I enjoy the simply background, it really helps the characters pop. The color choices and shading are really well done as well.
Overall this piece is really nice and makes a great impact.
P.S. this is only about my 4th critique total and only my second on pony art.
Oh yeah I know the pain of trying to get the backgound right, I always end up using the same technique wich gives a comic like style, I really dislike my style really, though I'm sure if I'll put in enough effort I'll get my backgrounds to be as awesome as yours c: one day xD
That's so awesome! Always loved how you do the eyes, and you can really spot them on this one. Also adore the background, you always make them look so simple and complex at the same time. ps: Was the heart shape on purpose? RD wont like this
